I didn’t start my career in a boardroom.
I started as an apprentice.
At 21, I launched Hardy Accounting without a university degree, without venture capital, and without a safety net.
What I did have was a belief that the financial industry needed to change and the determination to prove that success doesn’t require following someone else’s blueprint
Today, Hardy Accounting serves hundreds of clients and reaches over 4 million people monthly through financial education.

I'm Changing the System, Not Just Playing Within It
While running my business, I’ve been actively lobbying the UK Government to make financial literacy mandatory in schools. I’ve received a special award from the Department for Education, met members of the Royal Family, and serve as an AAT Ambassador and member of the DfE’s Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.
But advocacy isn’t enough. I’m building the alternative.
Through the Unconventional Academy, I’ve already mentored thousands of business owners.
Now, I’m launching my own AAT apprenticeship programs, creating the exact pathway I wish had existed when I was starting out.
